Hello everyone ! For those who don’t know me, my name is Lily Monroe, I’ve been a burlesque artist based in Montreal (Canada) for the past 12 years. This January 2026, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to New Orleans for the very first time to compete in the Teaser Festival, alongside amazing international performers, AND I’ll be the only artist representing Montreal in the competition !

As many of you already know, travelling to the United States has become extremely expensive for Canadians, that’s why I decided to create this GoFundMe.

I’ve dedicated more than a decade to developing my craft and pouring my heart into burlesque. Being selected for this competition is not only a huge professional milestone, it’s a dream come true. This opportunity represents years of hard work, resilience, and passion, and I’m deeply honored to bring Montreal’s burlesque scene to an international stage once again !

The costs I need to cover include accommodation, flights taxes, festival fees, meals, and more. Any contribution, big or small, truly makes a difference and helps me get one step closer to this experience I’ve worked so hard for !
