This is a hard post for me to make as I’m not great at asking for help. Over the past 2 years, my daughter Lily has been dealing with ongoing medical issues including chronic pain, non-epileptic seizures, and Functional Neurological Disorder. Her symptoms have been severe and unpredictable, and despite multiple doctors, hospital admissions, and treatments, we still don’t have clear answers or lasting relief. Watching her go through this has been incredibly difficult, and as a parent, it’s heartbreaking not to be able to provide the solutions she needs.

We’ve been fortunate enough to have Mayo Clinic accept her case, where a team of specialists will evaluate her over the course of a week. We’re hopeful this will finally give us direction and a real path forward for her care. However, the costs associated with this trip—including medical expenses and travel—have created a significant financial burden for our family. I want to acknowledge that Lily’s dad and grandparents have already been incredibly supportive and I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done to help us get this far. Even with that support, the reality is that medical bills, travel, lodging, and time off work are more than I can manage. We are doing everything we can, but we need help to make this possible.
