We have been frequent donors to animals in need. Unfortunately, now it’s our turn to ask for help.

Our sweet, lovable Lily became ill last week.

There was an onslaught of several life-threatening issues. Fluids, medications, and tests were recommended but needed to be paid for in advance before they could be given. The more hours that went by, the more tests needed to be done, as they could not find a reason for her illness. The bill went from $1800 to $3600 within hours, and by the next morning, another $6300 was added. Again, we didn’t know what was wrong with her; she had a 106 temperature, and we had to pay upfront in order to receive treatment. She has been discharged from the hospital, but as we continue to try antibiotics, steroids, other medications, and tests, the bills continue.

We believe Lily still has much love and life to share and hope that we have pinpointed the worst of her health problem and that she can recover.
