Lily, my 12-year-old daughter, has been dreaming of going on a Washington D.C. trip ever since her older sister had the chance to go two years ago. She spends so much time talking about all the places they’ll visit, from the monuments to the museums, and it’s clear how much this experience would mean to her. As a parent, I remember going to Washington D.C. on a school trip as one of my best memories, and I hope Lily gets to create those same unforgettable moments.
Because Lily attends a smaller school, the price for her trip is higher than what larger schools pay. The trip covers her travel and main activities but doesn’t include lunches or extras at many of the places they’ll visit. Every bit of support will help cover the trip itself and additional expenses along the way, to ensure Lily can fully enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
She is such a giving person herself, and I know that if she could, she would help pay for others to go, too. We appreciate all the help we can get, and any support given will truly go straight to our hearts. Thank you for considering helping Lily make her dream of exploring Washington D.C. come true!
