Help Lily Cain on her journey for rehabilitation and healing

We are reaching out to you during an extremely difficult time for 24 year old Lily Cain who has suffered from Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN)- a life-threatening skin condition that causes blistering and peeling of the skin.

Lily has demonstrated amazing courage and resilience and has just spent 12 days in ICU at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Lily faces a long road ahead as she has been transferred for her recovery to the burns unit.

Lily will continue to seek urgent medical care and treatment, and the road to recovery will be long and challenging via rehabilitation in Melbourne. Her loving family have been overwhelmed by the loving prayers, messages and support extended to them and wish to extend their heartfelt thanks.

Many people have been asking what they can do to help. A practical offer and solution to relieve further worries and stress would be to raise funds for Lily. Donations will be greatly appreciated as Lily will require ongoing hospitalisation, therapy and time to deal with the physical and emotional toll of this traumatic experience.

Your support can make a significant difference in her life, helping to cover her relocation during rehabilitation, and the day-to-day necessities as she navigates this difficult journey. Being young and newly employed, Lily does not have accumulated sick leave and benefits to assist her during her recovery.
