Hi, my name is Lily Boynton! I’m 14, and currently finishing a middle grade book called Giraffic Tales, meant to inspire and encourage people that their failures don’t define them through the perspective of a young giraffe named Rocket. This is the first of a series, and since I’m so young, it’s hard to raise this much money to self-publish. But, I’m determined! With your help and by God’s will, we can make this happen and publish Giraffic Tales, making a new animal fantasy book that I’m sure you’ll love!

How the funds will be used- all of the money goes towards different categories of self-publishing a book. The first four are different editing stages, some about the main premise of the book, and how all of the plot points line up, if the characters are well rounded etc. That alone can cost up to $1,800–$2,500… a LOT OF MONEY, not even counting the cover designing and other editing factors and publishing fees.
