Sweet Lillian became sick very quickly over the last few days. What started as a fever Thursday turned into double vision and other concerning symptoms by Saturday. Daniel and Rebecca took her to Willis-Knighton South, where doctors initially diagnosed her with bacterial meningitis. Since the original diagnosis doctors quickly realized they were dealing with a Naegleria fowleri infection.

She is now very sick in the PICU. The doctors are treating the infection and working to control the pressure on her brain, her fever and blood pressure.

If you know Rebecca and Daniel, you know they would give the shirt off their back to help someone. They are often the first ones to show up when someone else is going through a hard time, and now it’s our turn to show up for them.

They are both self-employed, and right now their only concern needs to be being beside Lillian. When you’re self-employed, being away from work means income stops while the bills don’t. Anything given will help take some of that weight off so they can focus completely on their little girl.

More than anything, please pray for Lillian. Pray for the pressure on her brain to come down, for the medicine to work, and for complete healing.

We know God still performs miracles, and we’re asking everyone to put Lillian’s name on your lips and pray.
