I am in a position I never imagined I would be in. I thought losing my job was the worst thing I would have to face, but then I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, my life has been turned upside down by chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and immunotherapy. I kept telling myself I could get through this on my own, but the truth is that everything has become overwhelming at once.

I have exhausted my savings, and my unemployment benefits have run out. My car has been repossessed, and I am now facing eviction at the end of the month. While trying to focus on my treatment and my health, I am also living with the fear of losing my home and having no reliable transportation. It is heartbreaking and frightening to be in the middle of cancer treatment while also worrying about basic survival.

I am asking for help so I can stay housed, meet urgent daily needs, continue getting to the care I need, and have some stability as I look for work now that immunotherapy has fewer side effects.
