My name is Lillian Reed, and I'm a trans woman classical composer and music doctoral student based in Baltimore. Over the last year I have struggled with chronic illness, which has made it impossible for me to work a normal job.

My finances have been rocky for a while as a result, and I don't receive any assistance from family. Now I find myself without stable housing because I lack the required income and my previous lease has ended.

I am raising funds for two things: firstly, to cover short-term housing and other needs to stay off the streets; and secondly, to build up enough cash to negotiate with a private landlord and pay for a few months of housing up-front, as I won't be accepted by corporate landlords. All money raised will go towards necessary living expenses.
