Updated to $10,000 so I can start working out moving across the country to Virginia. Get an apartment or townhouse or whatever so I can have a Virginia address to get a job there. There's a lot of other issues beyond just outright not getting work honestly, but I can't really vent about those here.

I'm a transwoman in Tempe, Arizona that has been unemployed since Dec 22, 2024. I was fired from my job right after Christmas because of my attendance without them even asking why even when given proof. I was in the hospital with double pneumonia and Dec 26 was the date I was to return to work after a much needed medical leave. I was given an oxygen tank to keep on hand for any breathing emergencies.

Unfortunately the unemployment payments I was lucky to get is soon to run out. I've been applying to 4 to 8 job postings a week since December 26th and have yet to get anything. Soon I'll be struggling to make ends meet as my rent is $1800 a month, my internet is $172.07a month, electricity is $169 a month, my phone bill for two lines is $103.89, the water service I have due to being unable to drink tap water is $58.38 a month, and I pay $61 in child support a month. I was barely making it by on the $844 a month from Unemployment with the help of my roommates. But the financial burden on them is gonna start taking it's toll so I need to ask for help.

On the off chance that my unemployment goes heavily into the next month, I may have to increase the fundraiser to be able to move across the country to a relatively cheaper place to live where I have a better chance at a job (from AZ to VA).
