This is lilli, we got her 2 1/2 years ago from a good friend. She is I and my son’s world, and my sons service dog . Lilli last night on 2/25/25 was in our backyard and ran up the back yard steep and tragically jumped from the retaining wall. During this jump she injured her back right leg. Upon further examination the doctors discovered she blew out her Patella (knee) and tore her acl connecting the Femur to her Tibia. She is no longer able to place any pressure or weight on her right leg and unable to walk with her back legs and now needs surgery to repair her torn acl. Doctors said this is required for her to walk again. I am not one to ever ask for help. But at the cost the vet said surgery would be to save my baby lilli , and I’ve already in the last 2 days spent over $1,000 at an emergency urgent care clinic and todays doctors visit xray and sedation. The cost of surgery for a mobile surgeon is $5600 and they said an emergency pet hospital that specializes in surgery could cost up to $7,000-$8,000.
