Hi! My name is Lilith. I am fundraising to help support myself while I recover from an emergency surgery to get infected metal out of my face! This is a result of a complication from a surgery I had earlier this year.

Unfortunately, despite having a job as a barista, my employer is not providing paid medical leave, as I did not meet the hours requirement due to being out of work for 2 months at the beginning of the year for my original procedure.

I have also been on strike for over a month, fighting for better wages and working conditions. I will be going nearly 3 months without a consistent paycheck and could really use the help.

On top of any associated costs of medical care, these funds will be used to support myself and my partner during this difficult time.
