HELP Liliana Holmes get her Open Heart Surgery

Hello family and friends,

We are in desperate need of assistance to get to Sanford University Hospital in California for our sweet daughter, Liliana's Open Heart Surgery.

We need to get to California ASAP because the only Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon that serves all the islands has suddenly died. There is NO ONE on island to help us in case of an emergency!!!! Closest medical center is in California!!!

When I was 20 weeks pregnant we found out that Liliana had a congenital heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot and would need open heart surgery within her first year of life. Without this surgery Liliana's heart will not be strong enough for her to live much longer than 1 year of age.

We are not normally ones that would ask for money but we have exhausted all of our resources and options. The military is unable to offer any financial assistance other than providing us with a loan, Tricare insurance is not able to offer any financial assistance or reimbursement because of the medical plan we are on.

This morning we found out that the Ronald McDonald House Charity is at Max capacity and told us that we would need to get a hotel room and figure out our own transportation/food etc.

Any money you are able to contribute will go towards medical expenses, travel, transportation, lodging and food.

We are maxed out from when we had to give birth to Liliana at Stanford in case she needed her open heart surgery as soon as she was born. Thankfully we were able to postpone her surgery until she got bigger and stronger but, we are at a point where we HAVE to get to California ASAP.
