Hoy recurrimos a su buen corazón para apoyar a una mujer que define lo que significa ser una luchadora: Lilian Ramos.

Lilian es residente de Fairfax/Falls Church y, por encima de todo, es una madre dedicada de tres hijos (de 15, 10 y 4 años). Su vida nunca ha sido fácil; perdió a sus padres cuando era muy pequeña y es viuda, lo que la ha llevado a trabajar incansablemente en dos empleos para sacar adelante a su familia ella sola.

Sin embargo, hoy se enfrenta al desafío más grande de su vida. Lilian ha sido diagnosticada con Leucemia.

La urgencia del momento

El próximo 24 de enero, Lilian se someterá a un trasplante de médula ósea, un procedimiento crítico para su recuperación. Debido a la agresividad del tratamiento y el largo periodo de recuperación que conlleva, Lilian ha tenido que dejar sus dos trabajos de manera indefinida.
