My friend Lilia needs financial help to fly from the USA to Europe and to cover some expenses there to help her mom, 86 y.o. disabled lady, evacuate from the Ukraine to some place safe. Right now her family just hopes to get her out of the war zone. She’s barely walking and didn’t leave the apartment for several years. Lilia’s mom is currently still in Kharkiv that was bombed terribly and still is. There will be evacuation in a few days and somebody will help to get her to the bus and move her out of the city toward the Poland border. Lilia is planning to fly to Poland to meet her there and than to decide on next steps. Polish and German volunteers are already overwhelmed by the amount of the refugees from the Ukraine so if Lilia could help her mom, the volunteers will have one less person to care about. There’s no goal on the donations amount really because every dollar makes the difference. Thank you in advance!
