Help Me Study Abroad in Barcelona This Summer!

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to share that I have been accepted into the Barcelona study abroad program this summer, for the whole month of June, through the University of South Carolina’s School of Information and Communications. This opportunity means so much to me, both academically and personally, and it is also helping me stay on track to graduate from college earlier.

During this program, I will be taking an excursion trip to Cannes, France, and taking two incredible classes:

International Communication:

This course will expose me to the complexity of global communication, help me understand the effects of cultural shock, and expand my information literacy on an international level.

Multimedia:

In this class, I’ll be working in a small group to create a multimedia project using writing, photography, video, audio, and more. This project will allow me to apply my skills in a real-world, global setting and push my creativity further than ever before.

This study abroad experience is not only a dream of mine, but also an important step in my education and future career. However, I am funding this entire trip on my own. While I am working at school and saving as much as I can, I still need help covering:

Tuition for the program

My plane ticket

France excursion

Expenses for excursions and materials needed to complete my multimedia project

Food/other expenses
