I’ve never been good at asking for help, but life threw me a curve I couldn’t prepare for.

Couple weeks ago, my cat Lili, my best friend, my family, my emotional support , went into an emergency medical crisis after ingesting something harmful. I was told that without immediate surgery, I’d have to put her down. The thought shattered me.

She’s just 4 years old and has been by my side through everything — immigration, isolation, depression, long nights studying and working. Living alone, she truly is my whole world. I had no choice but to proceed with surgery. Lili made it through and is now home, resting and recovering.

But now I’m facing the cost: nearly $10,000 in emergency vet bills.

I’m currently working full-time and already trying to raise funds to go back to school and become a dental hygienist — a dream I’ve been building toward for 7 years. This unexpected crisis has put me into a really tough financial place, and I’m now humbly asking for support.
