My mom, Lila Peace, is a dedicated acupuncturist and healer living in the Tahoe area. She has an office in Truckee and has been serving the community for many years.

Her home recently caught on fire. While she is safe, her part of the house and her belongings were significantly affected by smoke damage. She had to vacate immediately, and it is likely the house will need to be torn down.

Right now, she’s facing the challenge of finding a new, safe place to live while also dealing with the loss and restoration of her belongings.

My mom has always put so much of her energy and herself into helping others through her acupuncture and healing work. I’d really like to see her supported during this time so she can get back on her feet, restore what she can, and move into a stable living situation.
