Help lil Luke Unruh fight for life...

Little Luke Rivers needs your help, and especially your prayers. Luke joined the family of Nolan & Shonalee Unruh on Feb 15 of last year, and is such a charmer! With his big blue eyes and ‘melt your heart’ smile, he makes friends easily and is an absolute joy to his siblings Reed, 9, and Rilla, 6. Just after New Years, Luke was hospitalized when it became very difficult for him to keep any food down. Thanks to his mamma pushing for answers, a CT scan was done to see what was causing his difficulty swallowing. That CT showed every parents nightmare… a 3-4 cm mass on his brain, very close to his brain stem. Luke underwent surgery to remove the tumor on Monday, Jan 13, and the doctors were  happy with the outcome. They have, however, confirmed that the tumor was malignant. They are still waiting on the pathology results to know which kind of cancer. The funds raised here will be used for Lukes medical expenses, as well as extended stay accommodations in the city where he is receiving care.
