Hi, obviously most of you must know me as Marks wife Nat. Mark was originally diagnosed 7 years ago with Myeloma but it was asymptomatic so was not showing any symptoms which was reassuring for us as a family, fast forward to June last year , it decided to show its ugly head and begun to be problematic to mark, now resulting in mark being off work since January this year and has been undergoing chemo since March and is now waiting for his bone marrow transplant in the next few weeks. He has just come out of hospital from having his stem cells collected for a second time as his body failed to release enough the first time.
this is an incredibly stressful time for us as a family and where mark has not been working it’s just added to the worry of how we’re going to continue to pay for things in the next few months while mark continues his treatment. I have been doing my best but I’m now struggling myself with coping and juggling the bills coming through on my low wage. I would be eternally grateful if I could just just not have to think about the bills for a couple of months while marks bone marrow transplant is being done as he will have to stay in kings for 3-4 weeks , again another worrying time we are not looking forwards too. Thanks for reading , take care , Nat x
