Hi, everyone. My name is Amanda. My family and I are here to help fundraise some money for my sister, Michelle (Shelly), and my niece, Haleigh.

As some of you may know, Shelly's husband, Matt Zdunich, passed away on May 23rd after a long battle of being sick. He spent several months in the hospital while all of us hoped and prayed he'd get better. Unfortunately, that is not our reality. It's hard to describe how much he will be missed, by so many who loved him - family, friends, coworkers. He had an amazing way of making people laugh. He was a hard worker and loved his family very much. Shelly and Haleigh both miss him tremendously and are stuck grieving while also trying to sort out bills. For anyone who has lost someone, you know how impossible of a task that can be. And, not only was Matt in the hospital, but for any of you who know Haleigh know that she is also in and out of the hospital frequently. She was born with a rare genetic condition that has left her with disabilities and she gets sick very easily. Our little Haleigh Cat has been an Angel to our family that Matt and Shelly gave to us. With Matt gone, it's even more important for us to help out where we can. Several people have asked what they can do for Shelly and Hal, or how they can help. We are hoping that we can raise some money to help them pay for Matt's funeral expenses and some medical bills. The goal amount is arbitrary because anything, no matter how small, is helpful at this point. The funeral expenses and medical bills are obviously more than $2,000 but its a start.

We would be so grateful for any help toward lightening the load for Shelly during this impossibly difficult time. This is an extremely hard ask for us, but sometimes we just have to band together, set aside our pride, and do what is best for those that we love. Matt would have wanted that for his two girls.
