Back in May of 2025, my oldest cat, Light, got spayed. However, they did not get all of the tissue out and the remaining tissue leaves her with not only a ton of issues; but heat cycles still.
She has not been able to hold onto much weight, as she throws up often. She is stressed beyond belief with these heat cycles, and we think that's why she can't always keep her food down. One good thing is that she hasn't lost her appetite.
We were told that the tissue needed to be removed as soon as possible, as she now has a likelihood of either growing mammary tumors because of the stray tissue; or getting an severe infection.
Attatched below is exactly what the vet told us, as I would like to be as transparent as possible:
We do not have $3,000 to spare for this, as we are both currently looking for jobs to get us through the summer. Any help is appreciated, even if it's just through sharing.
