Help Lift Up a Grieving Mother and Family

On September 28, 2024, the worst imaginable tragedy that can happen to a mother… happened. Richie was with friends, walking in his own neighborhood on his way back home when his life was taken, stabbed in the back, not even given a chance for a fair fight. Just taken in the blink of an eye.

Imagine being at home sleeping, then getting woken up around 4 in the morning to find out your child has been airlifted to the hospital… not knowing what happened, what’s going on, if your child is alive… a complete nightmare.

Anyone who knew him knew he was a kind-hearted person. He had his flaws, as each and every one of us has. But if he considered you family or a friend, he’s someone that you could count on. He was a free spirit, enjoyed having a few beers here and there, a hard worker, but nothing compared to the love he had for his mother. His mother, who suffers the most out of all of us in this moment, his mother, who he always took care of. His mother, who seems like she doesn’t even want to live…

As a mother, you always think that your kids will be the ones to bury you first, not the other way around…
