There are moments in life when one safe place can change everything.

For many women and children escaping abuse, addiction, homelessness, or crisis, that safe place simply does not exist. Some are sleeping in cars. Some are trying to rebuild after prison or recovery. Some are choosing between staying in danger or becoming homeless. Some refuse shelter because they will not abandon the only family they have left - their dog.

I understand this pain personally.

For 35 years, I battled addiction to cocaine and alcohol after experiencing deep trauma and sexual abuses. I lost myself in hopelessness and destructive cycles. In 2010, after being sentenced to prison for 18 months, my life finally changed. What felt like the end became the beginning of lasting healing, faith, and restoration.

While in prison, God transformed my mind and took the addiction, then gave me a vision: create a place where people are not judged by their past, and help them restore their minds and support them into a better second chance future.

That vision became LifeChangers Legacy and the “I See ME Free” 4-phase workbook mentorship program. Since 2013, we have walked alongside over 10,000 individuals in prisons, recovery, and reentry programs across Georgia and even in 40 prisons throughout Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Every week, we receive letters from men and women who say:

“I finally believe my life matters.”

“For the first time, I have hope.”

“I don’t want to go back to who I used to be.”

But now we face one heartbreaking reality:

Many people complete the program and still have nowhere safe to go.

That is why this property matters so much!

The LifeChangers Transformational Training and Wellness Center in Canton, Georgia is not just land or buildings - it is a future sanctuary for healing, restoration and family reconciliation

This 4-acre campus includes:

• A 20-bed residential home for women and children

• Two additional 3 bedroom homes, one with pool and jacuzzi for wellness center

• A 100-seat chapel and training center

• A wellness center focused on holistic healing, inside and out

• A boutique and thrift store providing job training and sustainable income

• A commercial kitchen for community meals and workforce opportunities

• Future tiny homes for women with dogs so no woman has to choose between safety and her pet

This campus will provide housing, mentorship, workforce development, recovery support, social and personal skills, spiritual care, and community -

all in one safe restorative place.

I have dedicated my life to helping others rebuild theirs. I earned a doctorate in Christian Education, a Master’s in Pastoral Counseling, and multiple certifications and diplomas in recovery and trauma care because I never wanted another woman to go through what I once experienced.

Today, we are closer than ever to making this dream a reality, but we urgently need your partnership.

To secure this property, we must raise the remaining funds needed for the SBA loan down payment. The lender is waiting for proof of funds, and without immediate support, we could lose this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a lasting refuge for women and children in crisis.
