Help Lidia's Fight With Breast Cancer

Anyone who has the pleasure of meeting Lidia knows what a bright ray of sunshine she is. She started out as just a coworker when I first moved to Austin and quickly became my first friend in Texas and now she's one of my best friends.

Lidia Aguilar is a wife to her husband Alex, mother to her 11-year-old daughter Sammy & 3 fur babies, sister, aunt, patient advocate, and an amazing friend to so so many people.

Last fall Lidia received life-altering news: she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Lidia is facing her diagnosis with determination and grace and she’s doing it all with the same bubbly, positive personality that she’s always had.

Lidia is one of the strongest people I know. She hasn’t stopped living her life to the fullest and she’s taught me to make the most of every day and never give up.

Lidia is loving, caring, and always readily available to help those that were in need. Unfortunately, now it’s her turn, and we need to be there to help her.

Cancer not only takes a toll on your physical and mental well-being but as many know it’s a financial burden as well. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help support Lidia and her family with this burden. Lidia and her family have gone through enough and the goal is for them to not have to worry about finances whether it be current or future expenses.
