### Help Licalzi and His Family Recover After the Flood

Two days ago, a powerful storm came through our community and left devastating damage in its wake. Among those affected are our friends and neighbors, Licalzi and his family.

Licalzi is not just a neighbor—he is a friend, a coworker at Utah Tech University, and someone who has always been part of the community around him. Now, his own home has been severely impacted by the storm.

Their basement has been flooded, causing significant damage, and the upstairs of their home has also been heavily affected as belongings have had to be moved in and out during the cleanup and recovery process. At this point, it is uncertain what portions of the damage insurance will cover, leaving the family facing expenses and repairs they never expected.

Anyone who has experienced a flood knows that the damage goes far beyond what you can see. There are repairs, cleanup, replacing belongings, unexpected expenses, and the difficult process of trying to make a house feel like home again.

This is where we, as a community, can step in.
