If you have ever had the privilege of meeting Libby Hart you know she is fun, loving, giving of her time and energy, and one of the most positive people. Libby loves to laugh and have a good time, she loves the sunshine and water, loves running, loves her friends, and really loves Martin - lucky guy! For those of us who are close to Libby, we know how very lucky we are to have her and we are so incredibly blessed that she is still with us.

Several months ago a nasty little kidney stone tried to take our Libby away from us. "Though she be but little, she is fierce"! Libby fought, and fought HARD. First, she showed cognitive signs, then she came off the ventilator, then she came off of dialysis, then she slowly came off so so SOOOO many medications. She fought for her life and she won and not a day goes by that we are not aware how blessed we are that we still have our Libby!

Libby still has an uphill journey ahead of her. The sepsis and medications related to her illness cut off blood supply to her extremities and she is looking at a future of amputations and prosthetics. (Don't worry, she's already discussing running blades, so RUI friends, she'll be back!) This means A LOT of medical bills and needs and home renovations.

We are asking for your help to get Libby (and Martin) prepared for the journey ahead and monetarily through the current journey. Thank you for your help and continued prayers for our little miracle warrior!
