Hi everyone! I'm Libby.

As most of you know, I have suffered chronic pain from severe osteoarthritis in my left knee for several years. On July 28th, I am getting a total knee replacement. What follows will be at least 3 months of recovery, with gradually increasing movement. Then, God willing that nothing goes wrong, I will again be able to hike and go on walks and dance and do the things I love I can't do now.

I am starting this fundraiser in order to be able to afford a key piece of medical equipment for my recovery, and to cover the expenses at the hospital. The equipment I need is called a polar care wave. Take a look here:

It will make my recovery infinitely easier and my entire surgery more effective. My doctor and all the physical therapists that have treated me suggest I use this.

But, well, inflation is still a thing, and medical bills are high. So I am truly hoping that a lot of you can kick in a few bucks to help me reach my goal and buy the equipment and have a better recovery.
