Help Libby Cugini's Fight for Life

Hi all, my name is Barbara Cugini and I’m asking for donations on behalf of my sister, Elizabeth (Libby) Cugini. On July 2, 2025, Libby was admitted to the hospital in an emergency situation. She had pneumonia and trouble breathing. She then suffered a heart attack and underwent cardiac catheterization in a local hospital. That hospital was not equipped to handle the severity of the problem and transferred her to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Subsequently, Libby went through 4 cardiac catheterizations, coded 4 times, had a stroke, and currently is surviving on a heart pump while she is waiting for a heart and kidney transplant. The above picture was taken a few weeks ago and her health continues to decline.

This has been an absolute nightmare for all of us, especially her 17-year-old twins, Victoria and Gregorio, who graduated high school a week before all this began. My sister is a warrior; she has an incredible will to survive and fights to do so every single day. She is facing unbelievable challenges and still manages to stay positive and upbeat. Her biggest concern is her children, as she was helping to prepare them to go to college prior to this. It’s not easy to ask for help, but this situation is extremely overwhelming, and the expenses involved are skyrocketing. Any donation would be appreciated. Thank you.
