My cat Libbie has been struggling with seizures for the past year, and it’s been a heartbreaking journey for both of us. She’s already had to visit the emergency room, and now her vet is recommending that she see a neurologist to figure out what’s causing these episodes. The costs for these visits and possible medications are overwhelming, and I’m doing everything I can to make sure she gets the care she needs.

Libbie’s seizures come on suddenly, and it’s scary not knowing when they’ll happen. She gets very hyper and confused, and sometimes she has trouble catching her breath afterward. I’ve had to make changes at home to keep her safe, but it’s still so hard to watch her go through this. The emotional and financial stress has been a lot to handle, and I often feel helpless and guilty that I can’t do more for her on my own.
