Hello, my name is Hassan and I am from Virginia. I am currently raising funds on behalf of Lian, a 16 year old student from Palestine whose studies abruptly stopped last October when Israel began its attack on Gaza. Now she has missed an entire school year, and all schools in Gaza have been destroyed. She would like to evacuate from Gaza with her family so that she can continue her educational career. Hear what she has to say:

"Hello, I am Lian, I am 16 years old. I was living a happy life between the two years with my friends in my warm house full of love. I was in the last stages of my studies, and on October 7, in the morning, I was getting ready and then heading to my school. The terrifying news and sounds began to penetrate my ears, and after that day the suffering began. We began the displacement and left our homes, moving from one place to another, which is our journeys in a tent for me and my family. “And now we are not able to live in tents that are not protected from the cold of winter and the heat of summer.” And one day my school and education were bombed for a year. Now I want to leave with my family so that I can continue my educational career, and I hope that this will be a campaign. I will get what my family and I live in and my dreams will come true."
