My name is Lianna and I've been recently diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) as of May 3, 2019. I have been admitted to the hospital since April 30, 2019.
I am at Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital in Toronto under going my Chemotherapy. Before my diagnosis, I lived a normal life. I'm the eldest of 3 kids, I work full time, I was traveling, I was attending family functions and other events like any other 29 yr. Old. I was getting my life started. I had planned to move to the states to be with the love of my life.
Unfortunately my plans had been put on hold due to the biggest challenge I have yet to overcome, as well as my loved ones. This journey has not been easy, especially in such a short period of time. The amount of love, prayer and support is incredibly unreal and it does not go unnoticed.
I started this fundraiser because just like anyone fighting Cancer, life does not stop for us and all of our cases are unique. There will be many more obstacles, treatments, medicine and responsibilities. I am not the type of person to go around and ask for help. I have always been the type of person to give help and still continue to be.
But at this moment, a little goes a long way. I have big dreams and hopes. I want to be an extra voice for Leukemia Awareness, I want to be able to come out of this stronger so that I can help others pull through a lifestyle we did not ask for. I still want to give back to the community, my family, my friends and to all the supporters.
Anything helps. I cant express how blessed and grateful my family and I are to be receiving so much love and prayer.
❤❤❤
