Hi everyone, I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help, but right now my family is going through something really difficult. On March 4th, my 6-year-old son Liam suffered a serious leg injury at the park, breaking his tibia in a spiral fracture. He also has autism, so this situation has been especially challenging for him. The changes to his routine, doctor visits, and the pain he’s experiencing have been very overwhelming, and he needs a lot of extra support right now. As his mom and primary caregiver, my only focus is making sure he feels safe, comforted, and able to heal.

After seeing the orthopedic doctor, we learned that Liam needs a special surgery to ensure his bone heals properly. His recovery time is expected to be 3-6 months, and during this time, I will need to stay home with him full time. Because of this, I am unable to work, and as a single mom, missing work has put me in a really difficult position financially. Between regular bills like rent, groceries, and utilities, along with the added medical expenses and supplies, things are quickly becoming overwhelming.

I created this fundraiser to help keep us afloat while Liam recovers and while I’m unable to work. Any support would help relieve some of the stress so I can focus on what matters most—helping my son heal and get back to being the happy kid he deserves to be.
