Liams Journey to European Championships

Hey! This is Liam!

Let me tell you a little about him!

Liam grew up in Limerick and turned Eighteen this February. He is a dedicated Powerlifter and trains out of CityGym, Limerick.

This year, 2023, at National Championships Liam was named the best subjunior (18 and under) lifter in the whole of Ireland. He secured a 585KG total in the National Powerlifting Championships this year.

Thanks to his persistence and hard work, Liam was invited to represent Ireland in both The IPF Subjunior World Championships in Romania and EPF Subjunior European Championships in Hungary!

While all of this is great news, unfortunately, of course, competing internationally comes at a great cost. Between flights, accommodation, transport and participation fees, the cost of competing at an international level will put a major financial burden on Liam and his family.

That’s where I am hoping that you can help!

I have decided to set up this GoFundMe to help relieve the financial stress off of Liam and his family.

The money raised through this GoFundMe will go directly towards funding Liams Journey to competing internationally.

I hope that this will be able to pay for some of his flights, partication fees, accommodation fees, anti-doping fees and transportation to and from airports. This will give Liam the chance to enjoy this amazing opportunity and experience rather than having additional stress financially.
