HELP LIAM get to CHINA to REPRESENT AUSTRALIA in Futsal!

Hi, my name is Hayley. I am Liam's Mum.

Liam has been chosen by Futsal Australia to travel to China to represent our country..... AUSTRALIA!!!

To know Liam, this is an unbelievable opportunity that only someone of Liam's on field talent is presented with!! He is just about to turn 10 years old and has only be playing for 18 months!!

Liam is Autistic Level 2, he was selective non verbal from birth til 7 years old and he finally found his voice just before turning 8 years old, although he still struggles to talk around people he doesn't know.

Liam has always been sport oriented and found his place with futsal. He was recently chosen to represent QLD in the Australian school championship, and now also at a club level. He has done so well so far!

This is the part that blew my mind.............He has now been asked to represent OUR COUNTRY, AUSTRALIA at an international level!!!

For him to be able to reach this level and REPRESENT AUSTRALIA he needs donations....simply because we cannot afford it. Our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 boys) cannot afford this without you!! We just want to send Liam and 1 or 2 parents to support him. He obviously cannot travel without someone who he loves, trusts and understands him. Our goal of 10k just barely covers Liam and one parent!

Liam has personally said that if he gets to go, he will do our country proud! (If you know ASD, this is a massive promise!)

A bit more about our boy........Liam has learnt communication through sport and this has allowed him to exceed in his communication and understanding of the people close to him, whether it be through close family (parents) or the people around him. Futsal has given him the confidence that is evident with the international selectors of Futsal. I would love to say that I am just bias, but Futsal Australia have already said he MAKES THE CUT TO REP OUR COUNTRY in CHINA!

I honestly cannot put in to words how proud this Mumma is!

All money raised will go towards:

• 13 nights in China

• Training, games and tournament costs

• Accommodation

• Return Airfares

• Transport and transfers in China

• Australian representative team uniforms

I really just hope we can raise the funds to send this beautiful, talented, driven young man to China!
