Help Liam Attend Leadership Conference In Washington D.C.

Hello online family!

My name is Victoria, otherwise known as "Liam's mom." I am thrilled to announce that Liam was recently nominated by his math teacher Ms. Hassett to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. due to his academic achievement, demonstrated leadership potential, and strength of character!

To say that we feel proud of Liam is an understatement. If Liam attends this conference, he'll be the only student representing his entire middle school at this valuable leadership program! This is a fantastic opportunity for Liam to continue developing his leadership potential and take intentional steps towards having a successful experience in high school, college, and during his career.

By attending this conference, Liam will learn how to become better leader by setting clear goals, improving his communication skills, embracing models for solving complex problems, and learning how to build effective teams. Washington D.C. will serve as a living classroom providing amazing experiences in and around our nation's capital. Liam will learn about the characteristics of past and present leaders a the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and study leadership choices at historic locations such as George Washington's Mount Vernon. Liam will also enjoy a powerful group project called Voices Of Change that inspires positive social action through creating a plan to address pressing social issues.

The investment for this program (including airfare and transportation to and from the airport and hotel) is around $3,600.

Because enrollments may exceed available space, we need to secure Liam's spot in this program by February 19th 2025.

Of course, we his parents (and his beloved Nana) will do everything we can financially to ensure Liam experiences this valuable opportunity and we deeply appreciate any help that our family and friends might extend to us and to Liam.
