Hi, my name is Retiz , and I am raising funds for my niece, Liahona Yagonia — a brave 29-year-old from the Philippines who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Classic Hodgkin Lymphoma in September. The cancer has now spread to her lungs and other parts of her body.

Her doctors have assured us that this type of cancer is treatable and curable — but treatment must begin immediately.

Liahona has always been strong, independent, and hardworking, even covering her own medical expenses until now. But this time, the cost of treatment has become overwhelming. She urgently needs six rounds of chemotherapy, possibly followed by radiotherapy, to fight the disease.

In the Philippines, these treatments aren’t covered by public healthcare, so all costs must be paid out of pocket. The Brentuximab vedotin that she urgently needs costs about ₱123,000 (~$2,100 USD) per vial, and Liahona requires four vials per session, given every three weeks. On top of this, there are hospital fees, doctor and nursing charges, and after-care expenses.
