Help LGBT folks into a better living situation!

Heya! My name is Jake, and I'd like to thank you first and foremost for taking time out of your busy day to take a peek at our fundraiser.

My fiancé Ende and I — as well as two of our friends, Jess and Jimmu — are all LGBT individuals that are making an attempt to seek out a better home life, far away from the stress and toxicity of our current living situations. One of us is barely getting any hours at work, and another is currently out of a job and looking for a new one.

Ende and I currently live together with one roommate, and our two friends in question live separate from us and from one another.

While things are typically okay, they have gone less than well in the past few months. Between Ende and I being the only two doing the majority of the cleaning and chores around the house, there being a steady flow of uncleaned dog poop constantly littering the back porch because she never wants to take her dogs out, the aphid and ant infestation that her indoor garden has wrought upon the apartment, and her dogs being dumped on us to watch at the drop of a hat without any prior planning or even asking us — whether we have plans or not — and being expected to drop everything to do such. I love these dogs, but I work from home, and it is very difficult for me to work through such shrill and frequent barking.

Beyond that, one of her dogs has recently taking a liking to chasing, cornering, and sometimes trying to attack our cat, Tofu. It is very stressful for both of us, and we can't even imagine the level of stress it brings onto our poor cat.

These funds will be used to help us secure a deposit, as well as the first month or two's rent and whatever pet fees they may throw at us for Jess' dog Baph and our cat Tofu. They may also be used to cover things that we will not have when we leave, such as kitchen appliances/utensils, and any potential other utilities we may need.

Any little bit of help will carry us farther than we can ever go on our own, and we'll be more than grateful for even a few dollars.
