Help Leyland with His Veterinary Bills

Hi, my name is Jill and I have the best dog in the world named Leyland. He is a standard size Dachshund who is truly the love of my life. I never had any kids of my own, so he is like my son. We recently went through a very scary incident in which he had a pericardial effusion caused by a left atrial tear. This is when there is a rupture that leads to fluid buildup around the heart. I had to rush him to two separate emergency vet clinics, and thankfully the 2nd one figured out what was wrong. Had I not been home the day this happened, Leyland would have died. This is something that could possibly happen again, and he will also be on 3 different heart medications for the rest of the time he has left. He has degenerative valve disease and I'm not sure what the prognosis will be if I can't do everything in my power to treat his medical issues. I am a preschool teacher and have only my income to support myself and now all of Leyland's medical bills, and I would be extremely grateful to have any help at all to make sure his time left is comfortable. He is the best thing that ever happened to me. Your help will go straight to paying any bills that have been/will be accrued to assure he gets the care and treatment he needs. Thank you so much.
