Hi, my name is Lexi, and I’m raising money to help my mom as she battles stage 3 invasive adenocarcinoma, a serious and aggressive form of stomach cancer.

She recently had major surgery where doctors removed half of her stomach along with 14 lymph nodes. Unfortunately, cancer had already spread to some of those lymph nodes. Right now, she’s recovering from surgery and pneumonia, and we’re waiting for her next oncology appointment to learn more about her treatment plan. Her doctors expect she’ll need aggressive chemotherapy in the coming weeks.

This diagnosis was completely unexpected and has turned our world upside down. My mom can’t work right now, and she won’t be able to return for the foreseeable future until after chemo begins and she’s strong enough again. In the meantime, she still has bills, medications, and recovery costs that continue to add up.
