Help Lexis and Brice recover from Hurricane Helene!

Hello! We are raising emergency funds for my niece and friend, Lexis and her husband Brice, who had just purchased their first home in Hendersonville, NC in July and have now lost everything in the devastating Hurricane Helene. They are safe but were only able to escape with their dog Tater, two cats, and supplies of insulin, as they are both Type 1 diabetics.

We’d like to help them purchase things they need now: clothes, pet food, medication, and other necessities to begin to rebuild their lives.

They watched for 6 hours, floating in their kayaks, while holding onto their roof gutters, their belongings floating away as their home filled with water. Luckily, they were rescued and are staying with local family members.
