HELP LEXIE AND LAYNE THROUGH A MEDICAL CRISIS

Donation protected
I am Amber, the aunt to Lexie and Layne Wagner. Lexie, Layne and their 2 babies, are going through an incredibly difficult time. While we know their strength and faith will carry them through, the coming weeks and months will bring both emotional and financial strain.

Lexie recently fell seriously ill. After extensive testing and over 2 weeks in the hospital, doctors discovered that she has a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak caused by a tear in her dura - the membrane that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. While CSF leaks are sometimes easily repaired, Lexie's case is more complex and will require a highly specialized spinal surgeon.

Lexie is currently on strict bedrest while awaiting surgery, which is being coordinated with one of the top specialists in the country. In the meantime, she cannot work or contribute financially to their household, and her recovery will be long. On top of this, they must meet their medical deductible, pay out-of-pocket expenses to be in Houston, and somehow manage their everyday living costs without her income.

The team at Houston Methodist Hospital has been incredible and is doing everything possible to get Lexie the care she needs. Though the timeline is uncertain, we are hopeful and trust that everything will come together in God's perfect timing.

We're asking for support - big or small - to help ease the financial burden Lexie and Layne are facing. Your donation will go directly towards medical bills, travel costs and their living expenses while Lexie recovers.

Thank you for lifting them up in prayer and for any support you can offer during this time.
