Help Lexi with Bills and Taking Care of Her Dad

Hello, i’m Lexi, and my whole life i’ve taken care of my disabled parents. i’m 18 years old, and I took care of my bedridden mother up until she passed away when I was 16. Since then, my 66 year old father has declined in his health more and more every day. He has declining dementia, type 2 diabetes, terrible cardiac issues, and more. He can’t walk without a walker, and even then it’s a struggle, because he’s a terrible fall risk, he can’t bathe himself, or do any other everyday things. He’s lost all abilities to do anything for himself which leaves me unable to get a steady job, and an unbelievable amount of stress.

Today, our water got shut off, because he hadn’t paid the bill. He told me today that he hasn’t been paying the bills for the past 2-3 months, and they’ve all stacked up now, and I have to take care of all of it. He’s in and out of the hospital several times a month, and after past hospital, ambulance, and regular monthly bills, we’re basically left with nothing to pay for our monthly bills. I’m only 18 years old, and my dad is my only family member I have left. I genuinely just can’t take care of these payments this month all by myself. I’ve been trying to sell things, and i’m currently doing DoorDash, and Instacart, but it simply isn’t enough. Since all the bills have stacked up, and I just learned about it, this is my last resort. I’ve never been in a situation like this, and I beg for help. If you know me at all, you know i’m very independent, and this is so unlike me. It’s just that this month, we have basically nothing to help pay for these monthly bills, and I beg for anyone to please help me out. I would have never done this, but i’m truly all alone at 18 years old, and have no way to pay for the bills. This is my only choice, and if anyone can help out, it’d mean the absolute world to me. Anything will truly help. I just need some stress lifted off of me for once, and every penny means the world.
