If you know Lexi, you know she is a light. She radiates positivity, kindness, and strength in every room she walks into. She’s the kind of friend who lifts you up when you need it most. But even the strongest people sometimes need help—and right now, Lexi and her beloved service dog, Koa, are facing an unexpected challenge.
Koa isn’t just a pet—he’s Lexi’s partner in crime, her protector, and truly her other half. She’s invested $16,800 into his training to become a certified service dog, and together, they’ve built an unshakable bond that supports her health and daily life.
Recently, Koa began having seizures. At first, they were mild and infrequent, but they’ve become more frequent and concerning. Lexi’s top priority is getting Koa the medical care he needs, but the costs are overwhelming. A neurologist appointment alone is $200, and the tests and treatments that may follow could range anywhere from $1,000 to $9,000 or more, depending on what doctors find.
For Lexi, this isn’t just about money—it’s about saving her best friend, her lifeline, and ensuring he can live a full and healthy life. Anyone who has loved a dog knows the depth of this kind of bond, but with Koa being a service dog, the stakes are even higher.
We’re asking for your help—whether it’s through a donation of any amount or by sharing this page with others. Every little bit makes a difference and helps relieve the stress of the unknown.
Let’s come together to support Lexi and Koa so they can continue walking this journey side by side.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
