Help Us Create a Sensory Friendly Halloween for Local Families!

Hi everyone! My name is Alexis (Lexi), and I’m organizing our very first Sensory Spooktacular a free, inclusive Halloween event designed for children with sensory sensitivities and special needs, along with their families.

This event is especially close to my heart. As a mom to a wonderful autistic son, I know how overwhelming traditional Halloween festivities can be. Our goal is to create a safe, calm, and joyful space where every child can celebrate without fear of loud noises, bright lights, or sensory overload just pure fun, connection, and community.

️ What We’re Creating

We’re transforming our space into a Halloween wonderland featuring:

• A Sensory-Safe Trick-or-Treat Trail

• A Calm Craft Corner and Chill Zone

• A Mini Pumpkin Patch, where kids can pick and take home their own pumpkin

• Inclusive games, photo spots, and fall fun for the whole family

How Your Donation Helps

We’re keeping this event completely free so all families can attend without worry. Your contribution big or small helps cover:

• Pumpkins, hay bales, and fall décor

• Trick-or-treat buckets, candy, and sensory-safe toys

• Craft supplies and calm corner materials

• Snacks and refreshments for families

We’ve had so many wonderful people ask how they can help, but some felt like donating $5 or $10 was too small. That’s exactly why we created this page because nothing is too small. Every dollar raised helps us get closer to completing our goal and making this event truly special.
