Hello, and thank you for even taking the time to click the link that brought you here.
Top surgery! I am finally taking a big step to feel more comfortable in my skin.
I spent many, many years thinking I was not deserving of this procedure as a nonbinary person. Top surgery is usually part of an FTM transition, and I’ve been living happily as my nonbinary self for nearly two decades, aside from the daily stress of my chest.
For almost 20 years, I’ve been dreaming of a day where I can step out of my house without wearing compression, feel comfortable in clothes, or confidently give a hug. It always seemed like it was too good to be true, and I gave up on it for a while.
With the support of truly amazing friends and loved ones, it’s looking like I will finally get some weight off my chest. I found a surgeon who is not only a highly regarded medical practitioner, but a truly kind person, and by some magic, located here in Colorado. The practice does not take my insurance, so I am hoping to source some funds from anyone who feels they are able and interested in contributing.
Anything you can give is absolutely appreciated.
Thank you, sincerely.
Lex
