I am here today with a mutual aid request! My best friend Lex was just hit with over 3,000 in medical bills. They also haven't received unemployment in 5 weeks making these bills impossible to pay off. 90% of these bills are mental health related. Im calling on our community to monetarily help support Lex through this time and so these bills do not not further build interest and make it an impossible whole to get out of. Lex is a Black, queer, trans person and we all know these systems were not made for us to navigate. Lets get Lex back on their feet.
Ive included a breakdown of the bills below (all of these numbers are after insurance):
Therapy - $579.50
Outpatient - $1,350.94
Dentist - $112
Tria - $614.71
Urgent care - $368.41
Total 3,025.56
The additional $75 dollars will go towards any fees required to pay online.
