Help Lex help his dad

I am reaching out to help my son Lex as he is taking care of his father Bob, my ex-husband and my friend. Bob has had Lyme disease for many years and in June was diagnosed with stage four metastatic melanoma. Lex has taken care of and given financial support to his ill father for many years, and with Bob's cancer diagnosis, the situation has become critical.

Bob underwent brain surgery in July, and was left partially paralyzed as his cancer progressed. It is with loving care that Lex makes fresh vegetable juices and other healthy meals to deliver to Bob at the hospital. He has had to miss countless hours of work. In addition to the emotional strain, Lex is managing all of Bob's affairs, financial and otherwise. He faces imminent payments of uncovered medical costs, his father's living expenses, and anything else he can do to provide loving comfort to his dad.

Lex has a heart of gold. He is always ready to sacrifice his own needs in order to help others, and is not one to reach out for help. These funds will lighten the burden as Lex manages the expenses surrounding his father's condition and circumstances. All contributions will go directly to my son.
