Hi, we’re Jayde and Reagan, the owners of Payne Plumbing in Echuca. Today, we’re reaching out with heavy hearts but also hope, inspired by the incredible support of our local community.
This morning, while our team was hard at work on-site, Lewis, our dedicated first-year apprentice, had his tools, lunchbox, and personalised Yeti stolen from the back of our work ute. These tools were brand new, only purchased shortly before Christmas, and they are essential for Lewis to continue learning and working in his trade.
After sharing what happened, the wonderful people in Echuca encouraged us to start this GoFundMe to help Lewis replace what was taken. This theft is not just a financial setback—it’s a hit to a young apprentice’s journey to build his career.
The funds raised will go directly toward replacing his stolen Milwaukee tools, valued at $1,800, as well as his lunchbox and personalised Yeti. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help Lewis get back on the tools and back to doing what he loves.
We truly appreciate your support, and together, we can turn this unfortunate situation into an inspiring reminder of how strong our community is.
Thank you for helping us support Lewis.
** Update- as we have raised over the amount needed to replace the tools which were stolen, we have decided to keep the page live until Friday and any additional money over we will donate back to someone or a group in our community in need.
Thanks so much for all the support Echuca.
