Help Lewis Aphelin Fight Cancer with Care

Lewis Aphelin is currently facing one of the toughest battles of his life as he fights cancer. This diagnosis has been incredibly challenging for him and our entire family.

Lewis is a man who has faced more than his fair share of life's hardships. After undergoing a heart transplant, he found the strength to rebuild his life, only to be struck by the devastating loss of his son and wife. Now, he is courageously battling cancer, a fight that tests his resilience every day. Despite the overwhelming challenges, Lewis remains determined and hopeful, drawing on the love and memories of his lost family to fuel his fight.

Lewis had an extensive and radical surgery on October. Unfortunately they were not able to remove all of the bulk of the primary tumor and the pathology diagnosis shows squamous cell carcinoma of his tonsil with metastatic spread to his lymph nodes and extra nodal extension, which means the cancer left the shell of the lymph nodes and is now in the lymphatic fluid. The surgery alone left him with unimaginable pain, the inability to swallow, eat, take his needed medications, and so much more. Because of the aggressiveness of his cancer, he is now starting bilateral radiation on his throat as well as his neck 5 days a week And chemotherapy 1 time weekly.
